Je Nie Fleming

Actor | Singer | Voice Over Artist

On the set of my first film, Marvin & Tige, with John Cassavettes. He was so kind to me. He was as illuminating and inspiring as the characters he directed and played. I never forgot that experience. It fueled my passion for films.

An Atlanta native, Je Nie began working professionally at the age of 5 years old in several commercials, print ads, films, television, and theater productions. She earned a scholarship to attend NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in the Stella Adler Acting Conservatory. Her path soon led her to the Seattle Repertory Theatre where she tackled Athol Fugard’s Valley Song to glowing reviews. In Los Angeles, she sang back-up for Mary J. Blige, became certified as a Legal Assistant, studied photography at the Art Center College of Design, and drawing & painting at Pasadena City College. Family drew her back to Atlanta, where she earned a B.F.A. in Graphic Design while continuing to act with Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Productions, and (at her second home) The Tony Award winning Alliance Theatre.
